The four-time Grand Am Series, Memo Rojas Jr., will compete for the team which won four titles, the Telmex Ganassi Racing. In addition, they announced who their peers for the first day of the season, the classic 24 Hours of Daytona.

The Scuderia Telmex, Memo Rojas Jr., has been inducted into the Road Racing Drivers Club, a very important organization in the United States that promotes safety improvements, including a link for young drivers to take advice from of them in their early days in racing.

The president of the club, Bobby Rahal, had words of welcome for the four-time Grand Am “The RRDC is privileged to have Memo Rojas as one of its new members. Clearly demonstrated his talent by winning races and championships for the Telmex Chip Ganassi Racing in the Grand Am, and is an excellent representative for what the RRDC has been created. ”
Rojas, along with pilots recognized name, will work with the club to irrigate some experience to novice pilots through various programs. For the Mexican part of this exclusive club, is another example of the professionalism that has led him to obtain national and international achievements throughout his career.

The first round of the season will have activities from Thursday 24 with practice and qualifying which will take place from 14:40 pm Central Time Mexico. It will last only 15 minutes. On Friday there will be a final practice in the morning and the start of the 24 Hours of Daytona will be on Saturday 26 at about 14:30 pm, Central Time Mexico.

Rojas was injured before the second race at Watkins Glen in early August when he was done his usual training, but decided to postpone the operation for the Mexican could continue fighting to get his fourth title in the Grand-Am .
