The updated G-Class not only features a new electronic architecture that enables the vehicle to use the latest assistance systems, but also comes with new AMG engines, and has a carefully modified exterior and an extensively upgraded interior.

In 2013, another highlight was added to the G-Class product range: the G 63 AMG 6×6. It has a captivating open-bed structure, three axles, five differential locks, and portal axles.

The G-Class, the archetypal off-roader, is more popular than ever before. Sales of vehicles in this series have more than tripled in the last five years alone.

At around 30 percent, the largest proportion of Mercedes-Benz G-Class sales is in the European region. Every fourth G-Class goes to a customer in the Asia/Pacific region. The largest individual market for the G-Class is the USA.
